DoorDash is hiring a DashMart Team Member in Lansing, MI to assist with inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer communication. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in physical, fast-paced environments.
You are a motivated individual who excels in fast-paced, physical environments and is excited to roll up your sleeves and actively engage in day-to-day operations. You understand the importance of inventory management and are committed to ensuring that all products are accounted for and safeguarded against loss or theft. You have a keen eye for product quality and freshness, ensuring proper product rotation and adherence to food-handling processes. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately receiving and stocking inventory, ensuring that all products are accounted for and safeguarded against loss or theft. You will monitor product quality and freshness, following all HACCP and spoilage management processes. You will use technology similar to smartphone devices to scan packages, pick and stage orders, and conduct handoffs to Dashers. Your role will also involve communicating clearly and pleasantly with customers through the app when substitution approvals are needed. You will maintain a safe working environment by performing all duties in compliance with DashMart safety and security standards, completing all cleaning and warehouse organization tasks as assigned by management.
You will be part of a team that values collaboration and teamwork, working together to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
