Product Manager, Chrome AI Context Engineering and Infrastructure

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  
• 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, 0 to 1, etc.).
• 1 year of experience with one or more of the following: generative AI, large language modeling, reinforcement learning (e.g., sequential decision making), recommendation systems, or specialization in another ML field.
• Experience developing or launching products or technologies within artificial intelligence or machine learning (AI/ML).

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  
• 2 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
  
• 2 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
  
• 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  
• 1 year of experience in software development or engineering.
  
• Knowledge or interest in building accessibility best practices with experience incorporating accessibility into product development methodologies.

We achieve this by specializing in model tuning, context engineering, and architecture to deliver a positive web-optimized AI experience.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. • Define and lead a clear product idea and roadmap for how Chrome uses context to power AI features.
• Drive modeling and quality for scenarios that involve page and context understanding, from suggestions to resolving user ambiguity.
  
• Develop product requirements by synthesizing user feedback, log analysis, and AI model performance metrics.
  
• Lead and influence cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Research, UX, Legal, etc.) to design, implement, and launch innovative features.
  
• Own the creation of specialized datasets to evaluate the quality and safety of contextual features.
