Telligen is hiring a Home and Community Based Services Specialist to evaluate HCBS provider quality and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. This role focuses on onboarding and supporting providers in Central and Western Iowa.
You have a strong understanding of Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) and are familiar with the compliance requirements set by state and federal regulations. Your experience includes evaluating provider quality and ensuring adherence to industry best practices. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to provide technical assistance and training to HCBS provider applicants. You are detail-oriented and committed to ensuring a successful onboarding experience for providers.
Experience in quality oversight reviews and the development of policies and procedures is a plus. Familiarity with self-directed services and habilitation is also beneficial. You are adaptable and can work effectively with various stakeholders in the HCBS sector.
In this role, you will focus on evaluating HCBS waiver, habilitation, and CNRS providers to ensure they meet quality standards. You will provide technical assistance to new provider applicants, guiding them through the development and implementation of necessary policies and procedures. Your responsibilities will include conducting initial quality oversight reviews and offering training to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. You will work closely with providers in Central and Western Iowa, fostering a supportive environment that encourages adherence to best practices.
