Axon is seeking a Principal RF Engineer to lead the development of high-performance Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms. You'll architect and implement RF front ends, focusing on high-power amplifiers and antennas. This role requires advanced expertise in RF systems and hands-on design experience.
You have advanced expertise in RF front-end systems and antenna design, with a strong background in architecting and implementing high-performance Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms. Your experience includes working with high-power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, and antennas capable of operating across broad frequency ranges. You possess both technical leadership skills and hands-on design excellence, enabling you to support next-generation RF systems critical to airspace security solutions.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with other RF engineers, antenna experts, and cross-functional teams to optimize performance. Your communication skills allow you to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, ensuring alignment and understanding across teams. Leading RF validation and characterization efforts, you will ensure that systems meet rigorous environmental qualifications for field deployments.
