You have a strong background in compliance management, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a financial services or technology environment. You understand the importance of regulatory compliance and have a proven track record of developing and implementing effective compliance frameworks. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, legal, and operations, is essential for success in this role. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent analytical skills, allowing you to monitor and assess compliance risks effectively. You are proactive in staying updated on the evolving regulatory landscape and can provide strategic advice on compliance enhancements. You are passionate about consumer protection and innovation, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can make a significant impact.

What you'll do

As the Business Unit Control Manager at Chime, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening the first line of defense against compliance risks. You will partner with various business units to ensure they operate in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust compliance and control frameworks that support effective risk management across the organization. You will monitor the evolving regulatory landscape and advise on necessary control enhancements to existing products and services, ensuring they remain compliant, fair, and responsible as Chime continues to scale. Chime offers a competitive salary range for this role, from $144,500 to $180,600, depending on experience and location.
