In this role, you will be responsible for identifying potential Afterpay merchants and engaging them through various communication channels. You will collaborate closely with the SMB sales manager to develop strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. Your day-to-day activities will include researching potential clients, reaching out through social media and emails, and conducting follow-up calls to nurture leads.
You will also participate in team meetings to share insights and strategies that can help improve the sales process. Your contributions will be vital in shaping the approach the team takes towards acquiring new merchants and expanding Afterpay's reach in the SMB market.
As you progress in this role, you will have the opportunity to take on more responsibilities, including mentoring junior team members and leading initiatives that drive sales performance. Your success will be measured by the number of new merchants onboarded and the overall growth of Afterpay's presence in the SMB sector.
