Overview

MongoDB is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to guide customers in designing and building scalable systems using their data platform. You'll leverage technologies like MongoDB Atlas, AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. This role requires strong technical alignment with customer needs and a background in technical sales.

Who you are

You have a strong background in technical sales, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales or solutions architect role. Your expertise in database technologies, particularly MongoDB, allows you to effectively communicate complex concepts to customers and help them understand how to leverage our solutions for their business needs. You are skilled at building relationships with clients and have a proven track record of guiding them through the design and implementation of scalable systems. Your ability to collaborate with sales executives and technical teams ensures that customer success is at the forefront of your efforts.

You possess a deep understanding of cloud platforms, including AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, and can articulate the benefits of using MongoDB Atlas in a multi-cloud environment. Your technical acumen is complemented by excellent communication skills, enabling you to present solutions clearly and persuasively. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by the opportunity to drive innovation and transformation for our customers.

Desirable

Experience with AI and modern application development is a plus, as is familiarity with legacy workload modernization. You are comfortable working with diverse teams and can adapt to varying customer needs, ensuring that solutions are tailored to their specific requirements. What you'll do

As a Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Architect at MongoDB, you will play a critical role in our pre-sales organization, working closely with sales executives to identify customer needs and propose effective solutions. You will guide customers in designing and building reliable, scalable systems using our data platform, ensuring that they understand the full potential of MongoDB Atlas. Your responsibilities will include conducting technical presentations, leading workshops, and providing hands-on demonstrations to showcase the capabilities of our solutions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored proposals that address customer challenges and align with their business objectives. Your insights will help shape the technical direction of projects, and you will be instrumental in winning deals by establishing strong technical alignment with our platform. You will also engage with customers post-sale to ensure successful implementation and ongoing satisfaction with our solutions.
