Crusoe is seeking a Construction Project Specialist to support data center development and tenant improvement projects in Amarillo, TX. You'll assist in managing construction activities and coordinating with various stakeholders. This role is ideal for early-career construction professionals eager to develop their skills.
You are an early-career construction professional eager to develop your skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You have a foundational understanding of construction processes and are motivated to learn and grow within the industry. Your ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including contractors and internal teams, sets you apart. You are detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring that project timelines and quality standards are met. You are comfortable working on-site and are willing to participate in site walks and inspections to monitor progress. Your proactive approach to identifying risks and quality concerns will contribute to the success of the projects you support.
In this role, you will assist in managing daily activities across active construction sites, including scheduling, site coordination, documentation, and vendor oversight. You will support senior Construction Managers with project tracking, contractor communications, RFI logs, and submittal reviews. Monitoring construction progress will be a key responsibility, as you help identify risks, delays, or quality concerns, escalating issues to project leadership as needed. You will interface with internal stakeholders such as engineering, procurement, and operations, as well as external partners including general contractors, vendors, and consultants. Participation in site walks, inspections, and punch-list generation will be part of your routine, allowing you to gain hands-on experience in the construction lifecycle. Additionally, you will support budgeting and financial tracking for projects, ensuring alignment with internal equity and market data.
