Dropbox is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to manage and optimize their global cloud and corporate network environments. You'll work with AWS, GCP, and OCI to ensure reliability and security. This role requires extensive experience in cloud networking and infrastructure management.
You have 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on cloud environments. Your expertise spans AWS, GCP, and OCI, and you understand the intricacies of managing large-scale network infrastructures. You are skilled in monitoring and troubleshooting network health, utilizing tools like Datadog to ensure optimal performance. Your experience includes developing and supporting CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and network deployments, showcasing your ability to automate and streamline processes.
You are familiar with security practices, including the implementation of network firewalls and Zero Trust architectures. Your knowledge extends to observability and logging platforms, allowing you to leverage metrics, logs, and traces to enhance network reliability. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with Site Reliability Engineers and Infrastructure Engineers to design and operate complex cloud architectures.
Experience with synthetic testing frameworks is a plus, as is familiarity with enterprise cloud migrations and optimizations. You have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving network issues, ensuring that Dropbox's services remain reliable and efficient.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of Dropbox's global cloud and corporate network environments. You will monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure health, utilizing Datadog and other tools to maintain optimal performance. Your contributions will include driving improvements in automation, observability, and cost efficiency across the network.
You will partner closely with SREs and other engineering teams to design, build, and operate Dropbox's multi-cloud environment. This includes tackling complex infrastructure challenges that span cloud networking, compute, storage, and service delivery. You will play a key role in shaping the next generation of Dropbox's cloud architecture, ensuring that it meets the demands of a growing user base.
Your responsibilities will also involve contributing to cloud migrations and optimizing enterprise network solutions. You will work on implementing security measures, including WAFs and network firewalls, to protect Dropbox's infrastructure. Additionally, you will be involved in developing and supporting CI/CD pipelines, enhancing the deployment processes for network infrastructure.
