You'll collaborate with various stakeholders and ensure project timelines and budgets are met. This role requires expertise in project management and construction engineering.
You have a strong background in project management, particularly in the construction industry, with at least 5 years of experience overseeing large-scale industrial projects. You excel in collaborating with diverse teams, including developers, design engineers, and consultants, ensuring that all aspects of a project are aligned with the overall goals. Your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a keen eye on scope, budget, and schedule is essential. You are adept at navigating local building codes and regulations, ensuring compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Your communication skills allow you to translate complex technical documents into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels.
Experience with sustainability initiatives and a strong understanding of environmental regulations would be a plus. Familiarity with contract management and governance will enhance your ability to lead projects effectively.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the pre-construction phase of various industrial development projects, including new builds, retrofits, and expansions. You will lead the planning and design processes, ensuring that all necessary permits are obtained in a timely manner. Your role will involve coordinating with internal teams, such as Design Engineering and Amazon Robotics, to align project objectives with company goals. You will oversee the performance of contracted resources, ensuring that they deliver high-quality work that meets established KPIs. Additionally, you will conduct site visits to assess progress and address any issues that arise during the construction phase. Your expertise in conceptual estimating and budget oversight will be critical in maintaining financial control throughout the project.
