42dot is seeking a Senior IVI System Engineer (Audio) to develop and optimize audio systems for in-vehicle infotainment systems on the Android platform. You'll work with technologies such as Linux and ALSA, requiring over 7 years of experience in embedded systems development.
You have a bachelor's degree in computer, electrical, or information communication engineering, or equivalent experience. With over 7 years of experience in developing embedded systems on ARM-based SoCs, you have a strong background in Android and Linux environments. Your expertise includes developing Linux kernel and device drivers, as well as working with the Android platform, including the AOSP build system. You are proficient in developing sound drivers based on ALSA or similar audio frameworks, and you have experience with audio codecs and hardware interfaces such as I2S, TDM, and A2B. You have a keen understanding of vehicle-specific audio features like Zone Audio, Audio Routing, and Volume Control.
Experience in mass production of infotainment-related electronic components at OEMs or tier 1 suppliers is a plus. Familiarity with customizing Audio HAL and integrating DSP programming and audio signal processing solutions will set you apart.
As a Senior IVI System Engineer (Audio) at 42dot, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing the Board Support Package (BSP) for audio systems within the Software Defined Vehicle's infotainment system. You will work closely with vehicle audio hardware components such as DSPs, amplifiers, and speakers, ensuring seamless integration with the Android system. Your role will involve developing drivers that facilitate communication between the audio hardware and the Android platform, focusing on performance and reliability. You will implement and customize the Audio HAL to support vehicle-specific audio functionalities, enhancing the overall user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that audio systems meet the highest standards of quality and performance, contributing to the innovative solutions that 42dot is known for.
