Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience, along with 20 years of experience managing budgets across hardware commodities. Your background includes at least 15 years in two or more of the following disciplines: engineering/engineering management, project management, supply chain management, and commodity management. A Master's degree in Engineering or an MBA is preferred, showcasing your commitment to advanced education and leadership in the field.

Your experience working in complex end-to-end supply chains, including planning, sourcing, making, delivering, and product lifecycle management (PLM), equips you with the skills necessary to navigate the intricacies of global commodity management. You are adept at leading executive-level discussions and forging strategic alignment with internal partners in engineering, quality, and supply chain.

As the Senior Director of Global Commodity Management for Systems and Memory, you will define and own the long-term strategic vision for global systems and memory strategic sourcing. Your leadership will be instrumental in enabling Google's most advanced platforms and programs, as you partner with Google’s Platforms and Infrastructure Engineering team and Cloud Supply Chain Operations team to secure optimal commercial outcomes from key suppliers.
