TripActions is seeking a Manager of Sales Development to lead a team of sales development representatives. You'll focus on hiring, training, and optimizing processes to drive business impact. This role requires 2+ years of experience managing a sales development team in a SaaS environment.
You have 2+ years of experience managing a sales development team in a SaaS company — you've successfully hired, onboarded, and ramped teams to achieve ambitious revenue targets. Your background includes 1-3+ years in a closing quota-carrying role, preferably as an Account Executive, where you've demonstrated a proven track record of managing to core KPIs. You possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and are comfortable engaging with team members in person or over the phone. Your passion for operational rigor and excellence drives you to find the levers that accelerate growth, and you are willing to challenge the status quo to implement effective changes. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are excited to experiment, measure, and iterate on processes.
As the Manager of Sales Development, you will hire, onboard, and ramp a team of 6-8 sales development representatives, ensuring they are equipped to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. You will design, deliver, and refine regular training and enablement workshops, focusing on essential skills such as prospecting techniques, objection handling, and discovery conversations. Your role will involve driving a consistent and impactful operational cadence through weekly and monthly meetings aimed at aligning, inspiring, and motivating your SDRs to exceed their goals. You will collaborate cross-functionally with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Strategy, and Enablement to ensure alignment and seamless execution of SDR initiatives. Continuously assessing, refining, and optimizing SDR processes and strategies will be key to your success, as you proactively identify opportunities for improvement and implement measurable solutions. Acting as a strategic partner to sales leadership, you will ensure robust talent density, accelerated rep development, and consistent achievement of pipeline generation targets.
