Venn is hiring a Staff Front End Engineer to build modern web applications that are responsive and accessible. You'll work with technologies like JavaScript, TypeScript, and React. This position requires 6+ years of professional front-end development experience.
You have a minimum of 6 years of professional responsive front-end development experience, and you thrive in a collaborative environment, partnering with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. Your expertise in JavaScript and front-end technologies such as TypeScript, React, and Next.js allows you to make key decisions on frontend architecture while ensuring that applications are performant and accessible.
You possess extensive experience with JavaScript testing libraries, including Jest and React Testing Library, which enables you to write robust integration and unit tests. Your strong knowledge of RESTful APIs ensures that you have an eye for good contract design, allowing seamless communication between front-end and backend systems. You also have a heavy bias towards usability and user experience, understanding that these elements are crucial in modern web applications.
Familiarity with design tools like Figma is part of your skill set, allowing you to collaborate effectively with design teams. You are always eager to learn the latest front-end technologies and standards, ensuring that you are using the best tools and techniques possible to drive the creation and maintenance of high-quality web applications.
