Overview

Jamf is hiring a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to automate and develop backend infrastructure for the Jamf Cloud. You'll work with technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS to ensure efficient deployment and maintenance of production environments.

Who you are

You have a solid background in DevOps practices, with experience in automating and developing backend infrastructure that supports cloud services. You understand the importance of security best practices and have a keen eye for integrating them into system designs. Your familiarity with tools and techniques such as Infrastructure as Code and Containerization allows you to streamline processes effectively.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with software development teams to provide the necessary infrastructure for building and deploying products. Your ability to evaluate, plan, and implement new software services is complemented by your programming skills, enabling you to develop custom tools and automation solutions.

You value work-life balance and appreciate a flexible work culture that fosters respect and trust among team members. You are based in Poland or have the necessary sponsorship to work there, ensuring you can contribute to the team effectively.

Desirable

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools would be a plus, as would familiarity with security practices in cloud environments. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new technologies will help you excel in this role.

What you'll do

As a DevOps Engineer at Jamf, you will be responsible for the automation and development of backend infrastructure that powers the Jamf Cloud. This includes developing, deploying, and maintaining production environments while identifying and applying automation tools and techniques. You will work on integrating security best practices into system designs and configurations, ensuring that our infrastructure remains robust and secure.

You will collaborate with software development engineers to provide the internal infrastructure they need to build and deploy Jamf products in the cloud. Your role will involve evaluating and planning for new software services, as well as assisting in their configuration and implementation. You will also develop custom tools and automation through programming, enhancing the efficiency of our operations.

Your contributions will directly impact the success of our customers, as you help maintain the high standards of service that Jamf is known for.
