Grafana is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to drive new business across the Central region of the US. You'll be responsible for prospecting and closing opportunities with both new and existing customers. This role emphasizes a consultative sales approach and requires strong interpersonal skills.
You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with experience in technology or software solutions. You understand the importance of a consultative sales approach — learning about the customer's needs before discussing products is second nature to you. You thrive in a remote-first environment and are comfortable managing your time effectively while collaborating with a distributed team. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike. You are adaptable and open to feedback, continuously seeking to improve your sales techniques and strategies. Experience in the open-source software industry or familiarity with observability tools would be a plus. A background in managing accounts or business development is also beneficial.
