Samsara is hiring a Senior Software Engineer II to lead the technical vision for their core developer products, including APIs and integrations. You'll work with technologies like Java and AWS to empower enterprise customers. This position requires significant experience in software engineering.
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in building scalable applications and integrations. Your expertise in Java allows you to develop robust APIs that meet the needs of enterprise clients. You understand the importance of creating seamless integrations and have experience working with event-driven architectures. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and can communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are passionate about leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency and sustainability in various industries. You thrive in a remote work environment and are self-motivated to deliver high-quality results.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS is a plus, as is familiarity with IoT technologies. You may also have experience in leading projects or mentoring junior engineers, which would be beneficial in this role.
