Amazon is hiring a WHS Officer to ensure compliance with safety policies and local regulations at their Fulfillment Center in Noida. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives.
You have experience as a Site Safety Officer, demonstrating the ability to partner effectively with site operations teams to execute safety policies and ensure compliance with local and regional regulations. You leverage lean principles and kaizens to lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing conditional and ergonomic risks in processes, ensuring a safe and healthful working environment for associates. Your strong communication skills allow you to convey clear, concise, and consistent messages, both verbally and in writing, which is essential for instructing and training Operations Leaders in company safety policies.
You possess excellent safety program knowledge and relevant expertise in safety, environmental, and ergonomic practices. You are adept at conducting comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis, which helps you build trust and confidence with the Operations Team. Your ability to influence change through effective communication and feedback is a key strength, as you ensure that safety teams execute core competencies expected of an Amazon safety professional.
In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with the site operations team at the INGSF Fulfillment Center to execute company safety policies. You will ensure compliance with all applicable local and regional regulations, leading initiatives that focus on continuous improvement in safety practices. Your role will involve identifying best practices and incorporating them into company standards to enhance safety policies continuously.
You will instruct and train Operations Leaders on safety policies, assisting site teams in integrating these standards into their daily operations. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting risk assessments and analyzing safety data to identify areas for improvement. You will also be expected to communicate safety expectations clearly to your teams and provide frequent feedback to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
