Apple is seeking a Wireless Framework Software Engineer to design and develop next-generation connectivity technologies. You'll work with cellular technologies and collaborate across departments to enhance the customer experience with Apple products. With experience in designing and developing complex software components, you thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy crafting wireless solutions that elevate customer experiences. Your background includes working with multi-layered, distributed, and real-time simulation components, and you are adept at defining problem statements and designing AI/ML-based data-driven learning solutions. You are a good team player who is eager to contribute to the definition of next-generation wireless systems and standards.
Experience with simulator/emulator frameworks and a strong understanding of network architecture will set you apart. Familiarity with driving external infrastructure vendors and carriers to realize full feature sets is a plus. You are comfortable researching innovative ideas and solutions, and you have a keen interest in the latest advancements in wireless technologies.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering architecture, design, and implementation of multi-layered, distributed, and real-time simulation components. You will collaborate across departments to define wireless and network features, influencing the definition of next-generation wireless systems and standards. Your day-to-day tasks will include defining innovations and technical contributions in various areas of the cellular system, as well as working closely with different technical teams to drive external vendors and carriers towards full feature realization. You will also focus on designing and developing complete software components embedded into the simulation to verify end-to-end concepts and ideas. Your contributions will directly impact the customer experience with Apple products and iOS software features.
