Who you are

You are an entry-level Reliability and Maintenance Engineering Technician who is eager to learn and grow within a dynamic team at Amazon. You understand the importance of maintaining equipment and ensuring safety in a fast-paced environment. Your proactive approach to problem-solving will help you thrive in this role. You are committed to upholding health and safety best practices while supporting your colleagues in their daily tasks. You are open to working various shifts to ensure that operations run smoothly at all times.

Desirable

While not required, any previous experience in maintenance or engineering roles would be beneficial. Familiarity with health and safety regulations is a plus, as is a willingness to support the development of on-site apprentices.

What you'll do

As an RME Technician, you will be responsible for performing proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment. You will carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse, ensuring that machinery is operational and safe for use. Your role will involve using the latest tools and techniques to maximize equipment effectiveness and minimize downtime. You will also support the development and progression of on-site apprentices, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow.

You will work closely with senior colleagues to undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks and liaise with contractors when external expertise is needed. Your contributions will be vital in enhancing the operational environment and boosting the availability and quality of equipment across Amazon's sites. You will be expected to make suggestions for long-term improvements and participate in continuous improvement projects that roll out best practices across various EU sites.
