Amazon is hiring a Reliability and Maintenance Engineering Technician to maintain vital machinery and ensure operational efficiency. You are an entry-level Reliability and Maintenance Engineering Technician who is eager to learn and grow within a dynamic team at Amazon. As an RME Technician, you will be responsible for performing proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment. You will carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse, ensuring that machinery is operational and safe for use. Your role will involve using the latest tools and techniques to maximize equipment effectiveness and minimize downtime. You will also support the development and progression of on-site apprentices, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow.
You will work closely with senior colleagues to undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks and liaise with contractors when external expertise is needed. Your contributions will be vital in enhancing the operational environment and boosting the availability and quality of equipment across Amazon's sites. You will be expected to make suggestions for long-term improvements and participate in continuous improvement projects that roll out best practices across various EU sites.
