Carvana is seeking a Line Lead – Auto Body / Collision to manage and develop a team in their Inspection Center. You'll oversee production targets and ensure quality standards are met. This role requires strong leadership skills and experience in managing teams.
You have experience in a supervisory role, ideally within an automotive or manufacturing environment, where you've successfully managed teams to achieve production and quality goals. You understand the importance of safety and efficiency in the movement of vehicles and have a keen eye for detail to ensure that all work meets high standards. You are skilled in identifying team strengths and weaknesses, and you know how to engage and motivate your team to improve performance. You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to effectively coach your team and provide constructive feedback. You are adaptable and can thrive in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that production targets are met consistently.
In this role, you will manage the daily operations of the Inspection Center, overseeing the movement of cars for repairs while ensuring safety protocols are followed. You will set and monitor production goals, working closely with your team to meet or exceed these targets. You will engage with your team on a daily basis, providing coaching and support to help them develop their skills and improve their performance. You will also be responsible for identifying areas for improvement within the team and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and quality. Regularly, you will assess the workflow and make adjustments as necessary to optimize operations. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless process from inspection to delivery, contributing to Carvana's mission of providing high-quality vehicles to customers.
