You have a strong background in machine learning and engineering management, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams. Your experience includes building consumer-facing ML products from the ground up, ideally at a large scale similar to Dropbox. You thrive in environments that require strategic thinking and operational excellence, and you are adept at utilizing data to drive impactful decisions. You possess exceptional analytical capabilities, allowing you to optimize solutions in complex and dynamic environments. Mentoring and guiding team members to maximize their impact is something you excel at, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Experience with 0→1 product development in machine learning is a significant plus, as you understand the nuances of bringing new AI offerings to market. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and are driven by a bias for action, always seeking to create meaningful impact.
In this role, you will lead and develop a high-performing team of engineers, fostering individual ownership and driving impactful outcomes. You will shape and advance the future of Dropbox's AI product, Dash, focusing on product monetization and revenue generation. Your responsibilities will include defining the team's objectives and key results (OKRs) and managing their execution to ensure alignment with business goals. You will work closely with business partners and peer teams to facilitate iterative progress and streamline processes, eliminating redundancies to enhance team agility. Additionally, you will provide strategic direction and proactively anticipate scaling challenges through long-term planning, ensuring that the team is well-prepared for future growth.
