Job Description

Whole Foods Market and Amazon Fresh are part of Worldwide Grocery Stores (WWGS), delivering quality food and innovative shopping experiences to customers across multiple brands and channels. Our integrated marketing operations team supports both brands in creating impactful marketing initiatives at scale.

We are seeking a Program Manager to lead the successful delivery of omnichannel marketing plans for large-scale programs. This role is critical in optimizing our marketing channel planning processes and driving cross-functional collaboration to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will excel at managing multiple large-scale planning cycles alongside smaller requests, demonstrating the ability to prioritize effectively and maintain high-quality outputs across various project scales.

Key job responsibilities
1. Project Management and Process Optimization
o Lead and ensure successful delivery of program channel plans aligned with Marketing quarterly priorities and WFM goals
o Establish channel planning timelines and collaborate with channel owners to align with monthly key milestones
o Proactively assess channel team capacity, flagging potential resource constraints and offering solutions to balance workloads.
o Manage and optimize the Marketing channel planning tool (Monday.com), including license distribution and user training
o Identify areas of process improvement and propose solutions to simplify processes and ways of working
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication
o Cultivate relationships with all channels (Signage, Site Merchandising, Onsite, Paid Media, Social & Influencer, and Email) to understand their processes and facilitate support of the upfront planning process
o Act as a liaison between channel teams, Marketing Program Owners, and other stakeholders
o Coordinate with the Retail Marketing team to ensure timely stakeholder involvement and productive channel plan reviews
3. Strategic Planning and Risk Management
o Identify and mitigate risks to Marketing programs, recommending and implementing contingency plans
o Set and manage realistic project timelines, communicating project status effectively to various stakeholders
o Oversee the end-to-end channel planning process, ensuring timely completion of all steps
4. Documentation and Quality Assurance
o Prepare and organize Monthly Marketing Kickoff decks
o Create and distribute detailed channel plan summaries
o Develop and maintain important sourcing documents for channels (e.g., URLs, UTMs)
o Validate information across channels to prevent conflicts and identify interdependencies

- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
