Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. We are hiring a Production Coordinator to support the production of satellite operations across our facilities in Redmond and Kirkland, WA. A typical day for this role will be working directly with production teams and value stream owners on plan execution and check process adherence. You will interact with various stakeholders including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Key job responsibilities
Operations Management
- Manage material discrepancies and workflow in production cells
- Coordinate material staging and scheduling across production areas
- Track and optimize production flow and parts movement
- Own end-to-end satellite production roadmap
- Lead daily operations across multiple teams
Strategic Planning
- Assess technical decisions affecting production efficiency
- Convert strategic goals into actionable plans
- Manage project dependencies and resolve bottlenecks
- Create streamlined business processes and tools
- Develop operational rhythms for production teams
Risk & Quality
- Identify manufacturing risks and develop mitigation plans
- Execute strategic production ramp-up plans
- Standardize processes across supply chain and manufacturing
- Monitor and improve operational KPIs
- Analyze production data for improvement opportunities
Communication & Tools
- Drive executive communications and reporting
- Partner with business teams on growth initiatives
- Work with software teams on reporting tools
- Document and implement standardized processes

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. To deliver these complex solutions, as the Senior Technical Program Manager you will partner with peers across all Kuiper teams, including hardware, software, supply chain, manufacturing, launch, facilities, finance, compliance, and HR.- 2+ years of program or project management experience- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
- Experience in MS Access and SQL
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
