Job Description

Do you enjoy solving complex problems, interacting with stakeholders and managing EU-wide programs, all to improve customer experience?

As 3P capacity manager, you will work cross-functionally with different internal teams, and closely with our Carrier partners to identify and solve problems in the delivery experience.
You will be responsible for capacity planning across one or multiple countries and for managing and improving delivery performance across multiple carriers and geographic regions.

Here is your opportunity:

Within the Transportation team, you will be responsible for driving improvements to complex logistics problems, pursuing strategic initiatives and managing innovation projects across our constantly expanding European Fulfillment Network (and dealing with the inevitable challenges that come with continuous, rapid growth).

Amazon Italy is looking for a customer-focused, highly analytical Program Manager to manage Transportation country processes and performances and drive programs across the organization in order to improve them. You will also be accountable for dealing with challenging operational issues that will require a deep analysis of our distribution understanding of our network, and you will have the ability to implement solutions that will influence the short and long-term operations.

Location: Lux, Milan, London, Madrid, Paris or Munich Amazon Corporate office


Key job responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
· Managing country-wide programs to design and manage robust cross-functional processes in support of the country and EU-wide Transportation
· Creating capacity plans to meet demand, reduce cost and improve speed
·Driving continuous improvement initiatives with all teams managing the network to improve customer experience, costs and processes
· Supporting country teams in preparing and lead Ops calls, daily business reviews, WBRs, QBRs, Commercial Carriers
.Driving innovation by taking ownership of new projects and its operational success
· Supporting managing the network configuration of lanes, nodes and timings, working with stakeholders across the Transportation organization- Experience in program or project management
- Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with cross functional interactions
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)- Experience in MS Access and SQL
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
- Master's degree or equivalent
