VTEX is seeking an Operations Data Assistant to support the Equity Operations team. You'll assist with daily equity operations processes and ensure data accuracy across platforms. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills.
You are someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or you are currently pursuing one. You possess strong analytical skills and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in data management. Your communication skills allow you to effectively assist employees and internal stakeholders with equity-related inquiries. You are eager to learn about equity compensation and are motivated to contribute to a dynamic team environment.
Experience with equity platforms such as E*Trade or Carta is a plus, as is familiarity with HRIS systems like HiBob. You have a basic understanding of equity operations processes and are comfortable working with data analysis tools. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to collaborate with external vendors will help you thrive in this role.
In this role, you will support daily equity operations processes, including RSU releases, stock option exercises, and employee terminations. You will ensure the accuracy and consistency of data across various equity platforms and HRIS systems. Your analytical skills will be put to use as you reconcile data to identify inconsistencies, helping maintain high-quality information and reporting for the team.
You will assist employees and internal stakeholders, such as Payroll, Finance, and Legal, by responding to basic equity-related questions. Partnering with external vendors, you will support routine tasks and issue resolution, ensuring smooth operations. Additionally, you will help prepare and update operational documentation, including FAQs, SOPs, and checklists, to streamline processes.
Your role will also involve providing administrative support for quarterly equity grant cycles, tracking timelines and deliverables to ensure everything runs smoothly. You will assist with the preparation of reports and materials for audits and compliance reviews, contributing to team projects related to equity reporting, data analysis, process improvements, and automation.
