Who you are

You have a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your ability to perform various types of bodywork on vehicles. Your expertise includes heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, and roof and rocker panel repairs. You are familiar with using state-of-the-art tools and are committed to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. You understand the importance of teamwork and communication in a workshop setting, ensuring that you collaborate effectively with your colleagues to meet deadlines and maintain high standards. You are detail-oriented and take pride in your craftsmanship, always striving for excellence in every repair you undertake.

Desirable

Experience with Bondo repair and large area, heavy bodywork is a plus. You may also have certifications such as ASE, which would further enhance your qualifications for this role. A valid driver’s license and the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English are essential for effective communication in the workplace.

What you'll do

As an Experienced Auto Body Repair Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing bodywork on multiple panels of vehicles, ensuring that each repair meets the company's high standards. You will utilize your skills in heavy plastic welding and minor metal pulling to restore vehicles to their original condition. Your role will involve assessing damage, preparing surfaces for repair, and applying necessary materials to achieve a seamless finish. You will work in one of Carvana's high-tech Inspection Centers, where you will have access to advanced tools and equipment to assist you in your tasks. You will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices in automotive repair.
