Overview

Carvana is seeking an Auto Body Paint Quality Lead to manage and develop a team in their Inspection Center. You'll oversee production and quality goals to ensure vehicles meet high standards. This role requires strong leadership and management skills.

Job Description

Who you are

You have experience in a supervisory role, ideally within an automotive or manufacturing environment, where you've successfully managed teams to achieve production targets. Your leadership style focuses on developing team members, identifying their strengths and weaknesses, and providing coaching to enhance their performance. You understand the importance of quality control and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every vehicle meets rigorous standards before it reaches the customer.

You are results-driven and thrive in a fast-paced environment, where meeting or exceeding production goals is a daily challenge. Your ability to engage and motivate your team is key to fostering a positive work atmosphere. You are also adept at managing logistics, ensuring the safe movement of vehicles in and out of the Inspection Center.

Desirable

Experience in the automotive industry is a plus, as is familiarity with quality assurance processes. You may have a background in paint application or cosmetic repairs, which would enhance your ability to lead your team effectively. A commitment to continuous improvement and a passion for delivering high-quality results are essential traits that you bring to the role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage the daily operations of the Inspection Center, overseeing the movement of vehicles and ensuring that production and quality goals are met. You will lead a team of hourly associates, providing guidance and support as they work to inspect and perfect vehicles. Your responsibilities will include monitoring team performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity.
