Job Description

About the Role:
Join Amazon's Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) Data-Services team as a Senior HR Specialist, driving critical organizational effectiveness initiatives in one of tech's most transformative fields. Your work will directly impact how we build and scale the teams teaching our next-generation AI models.

About AGI Data-Services:
AGI-DS, within Amazon's Artificial General Intelligence organization, is pioneering AI model development across all domains. With 3,000+ employees in 8 countries, we're teaching world-class foundational AI models that power the future of AI, ensuring privacy and security for millions of customers.


Key job responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of organizational effectiveness programs and initiatives including organizational design, job architecture, and developing functional capability at scale
- Develop strategies to build functional capabilities among managers
- Analyze talent data to provide actionable insights and drive strategic decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and improve HR processes
- Conduct change management to support organizational transformations
- There will also be opportunities to own other programs/initiatives across the organization based on business needs – these may include process improvements, supporting other HR related goals/initiatives, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of HR experience with a focus on organizational effectiveness
- Strong project management and analytical skills
- Proven ability to navigate complexity and drive clarity in ambiguous environments
- Strong analytical skills with experience in strategic workforce planning
- Excellence in stakeholder management and executive communication
- Track record of developing innovative HR solutions in fast-paced environments
- Master's degree in HR or related field
- 7+ years of HR experience with a focus on organizational effectiveness
- Experience in the tech industry, particularly in AI or rapidly scaling environments
- Knowledge of advanced analytics tools and techniques
- Experience supporting tech operations organizations

- Experience working with rapidly growing, large, global teams

- Global HR experience

- Organizational design and change management experience

- Strong project management experience

- Proven ability to diagnose issues and drive appropriate solutions with self-initiative

- Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions in order to integrate HR and business strategies

- Excellent written and verbal communication; high quality document preparation and presentation skills

- Exception listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organization

- Knowledge of employment laws such as ERISA, COBRA, ADA, and other federal and state laws covering discrimination and equal opportunity employment

- Able to travel domestically and internationally, as appropriate

- Ability to work independently, as well as active member of both business and HR teams

- Resilient and able to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment with a high level of energy and sense of humor

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $113,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $187,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
