Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally within the tech or financial services sectors — you've successfully led product initiatives that drive user engagement and retention. Your analytical mindset allows you to leverage data to inform product decisions and optimize user experiences. You excel in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to deliver impactful solutions. You are comfortable navigating complex product ecosystems and can articulate a clear vision for product strategy. You understand the importance of user feedback and are skilled in conducting user research to inform product development. You are passionate about creating products that empower businesses and enhance customer experiences.

Desirable

Experience in the commerce or fintech space is a plus — familiarity with omnichannel solutions and integrated financial services will help you hit the ground running. A background in user experience design or data analysis will also be beneficial as you work to improve product engagement metrics.

What you'll do

As the Senior Product Manager for Engagement, you will own the product roadmap for features that enhance seller retention and engagement with Square's suite of tools. You will collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop and launch new features that meet the needs of our diverse seller base. Your role will involve defining success metrics, conducting A/B testing, and analyzing user data to drive product improvements. You will lead cross-functional meetings to align stakeholders on product vision and strategy, ensuring that all teams are working towards common goals. You will also be responsible for communicating product updates and insights to the broader organization, fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding the team through the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond.
