Job Description

This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.

Would you like to be part of a team that is re-defining an industry? Amazon Web Services (AWS) is leading the next paradigm shift in cloud and is looking for a US-based candidate for an ISV (Independent Software Vendor) Partner Development Manager (PDM) to support our Automotive and Manufacturing vertical.

This role will support the overall success of two of our most strategic Technology Partners, managing relationship, co-development and joint Go-To-Market (GTM) leading to success for the partner and AWS. As the Global PDM you will hold a holistic view of the business generated by your partner and will work cross-functionally across partner, sales, marketing, and other organizations to enhance and grow partner solutions on AWS. You will earn partner trust through deep understanding for their business challenges and opportunities, displaying competence in various business management disciplines and helping your partners build a successful and sustainable business delivering solutions that incorporate AWS technology and business capabilities.

In this role, you will serve as a leader and advocate for the partner within AWS, and champion AWS within the partner's organization. You will align partner and AWS teams to develop and execute joint innovation and GTM plans, guide partnership investments, and track joint business metrics. Keys to success are the ability to think big and develop business and technical strategies with significant potential for partner and AWS, build and convey compelling value propositions, and drive executive alignment. Strong business and technical acumen with cloud services and familiarity in manufacturing, energy, and building technologies are preferred.

Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities include creating long-term vision and strategic plans to grow AWS's partnership with ISV solutions that incorporate AWS technologies (for example, GenAI services such as Amazon Bedrock); establishing ISV SaaS-based co-sell motions; driving top line revenue growth through co-sell with ISVs to partner customers globally, and establishing AWS Marketplace as a preferred route to market.
