Glovo is seeking an Accounting Reporting Manager to oversee month-end closing and audit processes for their African legal entities. You'll lead a team of accountants and ensure compliance with reporting deadlines and local tax regulations.
You have extensive experience in accounting and finance, with a strong understanding of month-end closing processes and audit requirements. You are a natural leader, capable of managing a team of accountants while ensuring compliance with internal and external policies. Your analytical skills allow you to explain performance against business plans effectively, and you are comfortable navigating local tax regulations across different countries. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued.
Experience in a fast-paced, multi-national organization is a plus. Familiarity with financial reporting software and tools will enhance your ability to lead the team effectively. You are proactive in seeking solutions and continuously improving processes to drive efficiency.

You will lead a team of 8 accountants, providing guidance and support to help them meet their goals. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and internal policies, as well as conducting performance analysis to explain variances against the business plan. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure that financial data is aligned with operational goals and contribute to strategic discussions regarding financial performance.
