Key job responsibilities
Design, develop, and ship mobile app features, user flows, and UI components that integrate ambient AI capabilities
Partner with product, design, and AI teams to create robust, maintainable features
Drive improvements in code quality, maintainability, and app performance
Mentor peers and elevate our mobile development standards
Work with modern Android and React Native tools

About the team
Our team is compact and high-velocity, focused on core experiences that make ambient AI seamless and intuitive. We prioritize ownership, data-driven decisions, and cross-team partnerships with audio ML, backend, and mobile groups to deliver polished, user-centric solutions. We’re all about learning fast, iterating boldly, and creating personal AI that feels effortless and transformative.- 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 4+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 4+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- Experience shipping high-quality apps in Google Play Store
- Experience programming with TypeScript and Kotlin- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience building AI-first products
- Experience working with BLE peripherals

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $151,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
