What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the technical strategy for the Unified Temporal Proxy initiative, consolidating various proxy implementations into a single, extensible solution — this involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on architecture and design principles. You will be responsible for defining the technical roadmap and ensuring that the proxy meets the needs of both customers and the Temporal Cloud infrastructure. Your role will require you to engage with customers to gather feedback and iterate on the product based on their needs. You will also play a key role in open-source leadership, guiding the community in adopting and contributing to the proxy solution. You will collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate the proxy into existing systems and ensure it supports hybrid-cloud scenarios effectively. Additionally, you will mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the team. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability and security of the solutions we provide to our customers.
