You are a bold, results-driven leader with a passion for coaching your team to present the value of CircleCI's product to customers. You understand the intricacies of sales and have experience managing teams to drive new business pipelines and accounts. Your leadership style is focused on maximizing your team's efforts to prospect and close new opportunities while continuously improving sales strategies in your market. You have a proven track record of establishing quotas, forecasting pipeline and revenue, and monitoring progress to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with Customer Success leadership to ensure that new business strategies are aligned with customer needs. You are adept at coaching your team on the entire sales process, from lead generation to negotiation and closing deals. Your ability to mentor and grow your Account Executive team's capabilities over time is a key aspect of your leadership approach, helping them leverage data and insights to craft compelling value-based solutions.
Experience in managing sales teams across various business segments is a plus. Familiarity with sales methodologies and negotiation tactics will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
As a Sales Manager at CircleCI, you will lead and coach your Account Executive team in building account books and leveraging effective sales methodologies. You will be responsible for hiring and developing Account Executives who can successfully manage the opening of new accounts and logos. Establishing quotas and forecasting pipeline and revenue will be critical to your role, as you monitor progress towards achieving the team's revenue and profitability goals.
You will build, prioritize, and forecast the team pipeline using our tech stack, ensuring that your team is equipped with the tools they need to succeed. Collaboration with internal partners, including field engineers and customer success teams, will be essential to align strategies and drive results. You will coach your team on the entire sales process, including managing evaluations, product trial management, negotiation, contracting, and closing deals.
Mentoring your Account Executive team will be a significant part of your responsibilities, as you help them develop their skills and overcome objections using data and insights. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance within your team, ensuring that they are well-prepared to meet the challenges of the market.
