Desirable

Experience in a high-volume fulfilment center or similar environment would be advantageous, as would familiarity with advanced technologies used in logistics operations. A background in project management or process optimization methodologies would also be beneficial.

What you'll do

As the Operations Manager, you will orchestrate the daily operations of a state-of-the-art fulfilment center, ensuring that every decision you make contributes to the satisfaction of millions of customers. You will lead a diverse team of team leaders, fostering a culture of safety and performance excellence. Your role will involve setting strategic goals and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency in receiving, storage, preparation, and shipping.

You will design and implement large-scale continuous improvement initiatives, drawing on your expertise and in-depth data analysis to identify opportunities for operational enhancements. You will be at the forefront of innovation in logistics processes, actively contributing to the sharing of best practices within Amazon's network of fulfilment centers.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring key performance indicators, conducting regular performance reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with Amazon's operational goals. You will also be responsible for developing and mentoring your team, helping them grow in their roles and achieve their professional aspirations.
