What you'll do

As a Staff Software Engineer at Datadog, you will be responsible for defining and delivering the unified interface for querying and interacting with data. You will build and maintain APIs that support various telemetry data types, including metrics, logs, and traces. Your work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance developer experience and improve the overall querying capabilities of the platform. You will also engage in planning and designing semantic infrastructure that facilitates intelligent access patterns for users.

You will play a key role in the development of federated query systems, enabling cross-org and cross-region querying for executive dashboards and incident response.
