BeyondTrust is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive new business and manage the sales lifecycle in Northern California. This role requires strong sales skills and experience in account management.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology or cybersecurity sectors, with at least 5 years of experience in account management or business development. You are adept at identifying and generating new business opportunities, and you thrive in a results-driven environment where meeting quotas is a key focus. Your ability to build relationships with clients and understand their needs is paramount, and you are skilled at navigating complex sales cycles. You are comfortable using CRM tools like Salesforce to maintain accurate sales data and pipeline activity. You are a team player who collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing and channel partners, to achieve strategic goals.
Experience in cybersecurity or SaaS sales is a plus, as is familiarity with sales forecasting and territory management. You have a strong understanding of the sales process and are capable of developing comprehensive sales plans that align with company objectives. Your communication skills are excellent, allowing you to articulate value propositions clearly to potential clients.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing new and existing accounts within the Northern California territory. You will create and maintain a territory sales plan that outlines your roadmap to success, ensuring you meet or exceed your monthly and annual quotas. You will proactively prospect for opportunities across all product lines, managing the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to closing deals. You will collaborate closely with the Vice President, Sales Engineers, and other team members to deliver on strategic goals and align with channel partners to maximize customer value. Attending corporate trade shows and events will also be part of your responsibilities, allowing you to network and promote BeyondTrust's offerings effectively.
