DoorDash is hiring a Regional Merchant Lead to drive sales by building relationships with local and regional restaurant partners in Detroit. This role involves managing the full sales cycle and requires strong interpersonal skills.
You have experience in sales, particularly in building relationships with local businesses. You understand the importance of driving revenue through partnerships and have a knack for negotiating deals that benefit both parties. You thrive in a field sales environment, where you can meet clients face-to-face and establish trust. You are comfortable working independently and managing your schedule to maximize in-field time. You are adaptable and can travel as needed to collaborate with your team and attend events.
As a Regional Merchant Lead, you will own the full sales cycle for bringing new restaurant partners onto DoorDash. This includes prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals with local and regional merchants. You will spend a significant portion of your time in the field, meeting with restaurant owners and introducing them to DoorDash’s offerings. Your role will involve building strong local relationships and helping merchants understand how partnering with DoorDash can grow their business. You will also be responsible for negotiating revenue share agreements and selling multi-product solutions tailored to the needs of each merchant.
