As the Software Dev Manager for the AWS IAM Data Plane team, you will lead the development of critical components that underpin AWS's identity and access management services. You will oversee the architecture and implementation of the persistence layer for IAM data, ensuring it meets the scalability and reliability demands of our customers. Your role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions that enhance the security and usability of AWS services.
You will be responsible for setting the technical direction of your team, guiding engineers in best practices for software development, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to specification. You will also play a key role in recruiting and developing top engineering talent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within your team.
In addition to technical leadership, you will engage with customers to understand their needs and challenges, translating these insights into actionable development plans.
