Overview

Tanium is seeking a Director of Strategic Accounts to lead enterprise sales efforts. You'll be responsible for generating opportunities and managing complex sales cycles within assigned territories. This role requires significant enterprise software sales experience.

Who you are

You have significant enterprise software sales experience, generating and closing large and complex software transactions with the biggest customers in the region. You are equally comfortable engaging with C-suite executives and technical teams, articulating the value of technology solutions tailored to customer needs. Your proven track record of exceeding quotas demonstrates your ability to drive a superior customer experience. You thrive in a team-oriented environment, understanding that selling is a collaborative effort that requires managing and utilizing virtual resources effectively.

You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to nurture and develop relationships within your assigned territory and present the value of the Tanium platform to decision-makers. Your experience includes conducting online webinars and in-person presentations to generate qualified leads, showcasing your ability to engage diverse audiences. You are detail-oriented, maintaining excellent sales forecasting and pipeline management practices, ensuring that your sales development activities are aligned with business goals.

Desirable

Experience in a similar role within the cybersecurity or enterprise software industry would be advantageous. Familiarity with sales tools such as Salesforce (SFDC) is a plus, as is a background in managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders. A strong understanding of the technology landscape and the ability to translate technical concepts into business benefits will set you apart.

What you'll do

As the Director of Strategic Accounts, you will be responsible for generating opportunities to position the Tanium platform within your assigned territory and accounts. You will articulate the value of the Tanium platform to decision-makers and expertly manage the complex sales cycle. Your role will involve nurturing and developing relationships within your assigned territory, presenting to the C-suite the value of the Tanium platform. You will work closely with the Partner and Marketing teams to define and support prospecting and sales efforts, ensuring a healthy pipeline management process.

You will generate appropriate sales development activity to ensure a robust pipeline, accurately forecasting sales and maintaining excellent SFDC hygiene. Conducting online webinars or in-person presentations to generate qualified leads will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will also travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects, further strengthening relationships and driving sales.
