Squarespace is seeking a B2B Strategy & Operations Manager to enhance operational efficiency and strategic alignment between Customer Success and New Business Acquisition. This role requires strong strategic thinking and operational expertise.
You are an experienced Strategy & Operations Manager with a proven track record in building operational functions from the ground up. You possess a strategic mindset and are adept at translating high-level business objectives into actionable insights and scalable processes. Your collaborative nature allows you to work effectively with various teams, ensuring alignment and efficiency across the organization. You thrive in a role that requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, making you a valuable asset to any team.
You have a strong background in B2B operations, with experience in managing core operating processes and rhythms. Your ability to act as a trusted advisor to sales leadership demonstrates your capacity to drive initiatives that enhance productivity and improve the overall sales motion. You are comfortable with data analysis and can leverage insights to inform decision-making and operational improvements.
Experience in a technology-driven environment is a plus, as is familiarity with sales forecasting and pipeline management. You understand the nuances of customer success and new business acquisition, allowing you to bridge gaps between these critical functions effectively. Your skills in operational excellence and process design will be instrumental in shaping the go-to-market strategy and ensuring long-term success for the organization.
In this role, you will serve as a strategic business partner to sales leadership, driving initiatives that strengthen the selling motion and improve field productivity. You will own core B2B operating processes, including field forecasting, pipeline and deal reviews, and renewals, ensuring accuracy and consistency in execution. Your leadership in forecasting and pipeline excellence will involve leading field-level forecasting and inspection cadences, as well as collaborating with business intelligence on forecasting logic.
You will define and operationalize selling frameworks, stage criteria, qualification standards, and lifecycle definitions that govern deal progression. Your insights will translate operational data into actionable strategies, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the sales team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that operational processes align with business objectives and drive results.
