Google is seeking a Program Manager for Business Engineering Operations to lead complex projects and collaborate with product and engineering teams. This role requires 5 years of experience in program management and knowledge of technical operations.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 5 years of experience in program or project management. Your background includes driving operational designs through the selection and application of frameworks, standards, tools, processes, and resourcing models. You have experience collaborating with product and engineering teams, providing operational insights that enhance project outcomes. Your knowledge of technical operations and program management methodologies allows you to design technical solutions, tools, or write scripts to automate routine tasks effectively.

As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, coordinating with various stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your ability to synthesize operational performance and partner needs will be crucial in crafting communications that highlight key takeaways for Product, Engineering, and leadership teams.
Experience with Ads, telecommunication, and first-party or third-party ecosystems will be beneficial. Familiarity with engineering productivity tools and methodologies will enhance your effectiveness in this role. You are adept at troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and proposing solutions for emerging tests, which will be essential in overseeing vendor operations and partner support for RCS for Business services across Google.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the operations and partner ecosystem that scale Rich Communication Services (RCS) for Business services across Google. You will oversee vendor operations and partner support, ensuring alignment with the go-to-market strategy. Establishing a cadence for program reviews, decision-making, and prioritization will be part of your responsibilities. You will develop technical knowledge to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and propose solutions for emerging tests.
Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres, requiring you to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. You will partner in defining objectives and key results (OKRs) while ensuring that user needs are met. Your role will involve crafting communications that synthesize operational performance, partner needs, and highlight key takeaways for Product, Engineering, and leadership teams.
