Overview

Google is seeking a Senior Industry Manager for their Retail sector to drive consultative sales and business development. You'll leverage your expertise in digital advertising and media measurement solutions to build relationships with clients and agencies. This role requires 8 years of industry experience.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing. If you hold an advanced degree, you can qualify with 6 years of experience. You possess a strong understanding of media and marketing measurement solutions, including Media Mix Modeling, incrementality studies, and brand measurement. Your experience collaborating with media agencies across various departments, such as communications planning and strategy, AV, and digital teams, sets you apart. You excel at building relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including agencies and clients, ensuring successful collaboration.

In your previous roles, you have managed relationships with customers or agencies and service partners at an executive level for at least 6 years. Your background includes 4 years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry or product area, and you have spent 2 years working in a cross-functional organization. Your expertise in media sales or brand management, combined with your experience in a leadership role, makes you a strong candidate for this position.

You bring a passion for sales and a commitment to maximizing customer success. You act like an owner, moving with velocity through change and finding innovative and strategic ways to deliver extraordinary outcomes for both Google and its customers. You build trusted relationships with customers, uncovering their business needs and translating them into actionable strategies that help clients meet their marketing objectives.

Desirable

Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry is preferred, as well as familiarity with cross-functional organizations. Your ability to develop forward-thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals will be essential in this role.
