Google is seeking a Senior Field Sales Representative to drive business growth in the EdTech sector. You'll engage with clients to promote Google Cloud solutions, leveraging your expertise in SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS. This role requires 10 years of experience in the technology industry.

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in the technology industry, specifically with Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) products and platforms. Your background includes experience in client business or management, and you possess strong skills in customer and relationship management, particularly in technology-using platforms. You have a keen understanding of the education sector and EdTechs, and you thrive in dynamic environments, working towards business goals amidst change. Your ability to engage with developer audiences and C-level IT and business leaders sets you apart.

Desirable

Experience in advocating for cloud technologies and promoting business innovation is a plus. Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Google Workspace, and Google for Education solutions will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be part of the Google Cloud Platform team, helping customers transform and build what's next for their businesses using cloud technology. You will advocate for the Cloud Platform, introducing Google Cloud solutions to customers and accounts, and driving awareness in the developer community. Your responsibilities will include understanding each customer's technology footprint, growth plans, business drivers, and technology strategy. You will work closely with Customer Engineers and Google partners to maximize business results in your territory, identifying opportunities with enterprise customers. Your role will involve driving business development, forecasting, and achieving goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle, ensuring they see the benefits of Google’s technology come to life.
