Osmo is seeking a Material Handler for their Fragrance Manufacturing team in Elizabeth, NJ. You'll be responsible for staging raw materials, maintaining inventory, and ensuring production efficiency. This role is ideal for entry-level candidates looking to start a career in manufacturing.
You are a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a hands-on environment. You understand the importance of maintaining accurate inventory records and are committed to adhering to safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines. You are proactive in communicating material shortages and ensuring that production runs smoothly. You may have some experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting, but you are eager to learn and grow in your role. You are comfortable working with various materials and consumables, and you take pride in keeping your workspace organized and efficient.
In this role, you will stage raw materials and consumables in alignment with production schedules and work orders. You will ensure that compounder stations are continuously stocked with the required materials to prevent production downtime. You will help order basic lab consumables and monitor their usage rates, ensuring that everything needed for production is readily available. You will stock and organize raw materials and lab consumables in designated storage locations, maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting routine cycle counts to reconcile discrepancies. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you monitor material levels and proactively communicate any shortages to your team.
