Google is seeking a Finance Optimization Analyst to enhance financial processes and data management. You'll utilize SQL for data extraction and analysis while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience. With at least 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, you are well-versed in core FP&A responsibilities including forecasting, closing, and financial reporting. You possess the ability to utilize SQL to extract and manipulate data sets for financial reporting and analysis, and you are comfortable interacting with both technical and non-technical groups across all organizational levels. You thrive in ambiguous environments and are eager to grow and adapt as needed.
You have experience with internal financial access tools and a strong focus on automating and optimizing financial processes. As a driven and results-oriented professional, you take pride in identifying opportunities and solving complex problems. You are committed to helping the Finance team optimize their processes and save valuable time, demonstrating accountability and ownership in your work.
Experience in managing role-based access for Cloud users and during different product lifecycle phases is a plus. Familiarity with data reconciliation and SSOT development will enhance your contributions to the team.
As a Finance Optimization Analyst for Data Strategy and Enablement, you will work cross-functionally to establish a Single Source Of Truth (SSOT) for financial data. Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to plan and execute business optimization projects with a strong focus on SSOT implementation. You will extract and analyze financial datasets using SQL to support the team with data reconciliation and SSOT development. Additionally, you will prepare presentations and reports to effectively communicate optimization insights and project status to leadership.
You will become a subject matter expert for Cloud Financial data, joining the Cloud Finance Data Stewardship team to streamline data access. Your contributions will be crucial in optimizing financial processes and ensuring that the Finance team operates efficiently. You will be accountable for your work and will take ownership of the projects you lead, ensuring that they align with the overall goals of the organization.
