You have a proven track record in finance operations, with extensive experience in leading shared services functions. Your background includes designing and implementing centralized, tech-enabled finance models that enhance operational efficiency. You are skilled in leveraging automation and AI to streamline processes and improve service quality. You possess strong leadership qualities, enabling you to build and manage high-performing teams across various finance functions.

You understand the complexities of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Payroll, and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, and you have successfully transformed these areas in previous roles. Your analytical mindset allows you to create metrics-driven approaches that ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial operations. You are adept at managing relationships with external partners, such as BPO providers, to enhance service delivery.

Desirable

Experience with Oracle Fusion and familiarity with automation tools will be advantageous. You are comfortable working in a hybrid model and have a flexible approach to team management. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels will help you drive the finance transformation initiatives successfully.

What you'll do

In this role, you will build and lead OpenAI’s global Finance Shared Services function, focusing on P2P, O2C, R2R, and Payroll operations. You will design and implement a centralized shared services model that leverages technology and metrics to enhance operational rigor and service quality. Your leadership will be crucial in launching additional finance functions into the shared service model, ensuring that the team delivers exceptional service while enabling the Controllership and Finance teams to focus on strategic initiatives.

You will manage a hybrid delivery model that includes internal teams, BPO teams, and automation solutions. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the transformation of finance operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to align finance operations with OpenAI’s growth and scalability goals.
