Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, along with at least 10 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as a solutions architect or sales engineer. Your background includes significant experience in cloud computing and its applications in advanced fields like computer vision, reinforcement learning, and sensor fusion. You excel in engaging with technical stakeholders and executive leaders, effectively communicating complex concepts and solutions. Your understanding of robotics concepts and frameworks, including ROS, Gazebo, and simulation tools like Mujoco and IsaacSim, sets you apart. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and possess a proactive, entrepreneurial spirit that drives new initiatives forward. Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential for supporting client relationship management in the region.

What you'll do

As a Principal Architect, you will be a foundational member and key contributor to the advanced robotics and mobility effort at Google. Your role will involve engaging with pioneering organizations alongside Sales teams, helping them unlock the transformative potential of robots capable of advanced perception and decision-making using Google Cloud. You will be responsible for understanding the unique technical and operational issues our customers face, architecting and showcasing Google Cloud solutions that directly address their needs. You will identify business opportunities by understanding customer infrastructure and objectives, developing strategies to resolve technical blockers and adoption issues. Your expertise will allow you to articulate Google Cloud’s value for data-driven, adaptive robotic deployments while building a network of key regional experts. You will also create narratives and reference architectures focused on applying learning-based models to robotics use cases, ensuring that our solutions are tailored to meet the evolving demands of the industry.
