What you'll do

As the Senior Manager of Mechanical Design, Tooling at Relativity, you will lead the Tooling and Factory Automation team, focusing on the design and development of tools and fixtures that support the production of the Terran R rocket. You will collaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure that your designs are not only innovative but also practical for production.

You will be responsible for defining the tooling requirements for various manufacturing processes, ensuring that all tools meet the necessary specifications and quality standards. Your role will involve conducting design reviews, providing feedback, and making adjustments as needed to optimize performance and efficiency.

In addition to design work, you will oversee the implementation of new tooling solutions, working closely with production teams to ensure a smooth transition from design to manufacturing. You will also be involved in troubleshooting any issues that arise during production, using your problem-solving skills to find effective solutions quickly.
